Basically I’ve decided to use a blog instead of thefacebook post/share feeds, and then import the posts into my facebook profile instead. While I adore thefacebook’s platform, my parents and sister aren’t going to join anytime soon. Or, at least I certainly hope not… I’m still distraught over finding my dad’s myspace page (Single, Taurus, Don’t Want Kids). Ouch.
So, I imagine this blog to be a place to share things that tickle my fancy. I also hope to be exceedingly snarky. The latter ambition should be easily realized considering that I possess an impressively self-aggrandized value of my own opinion. I also demonstrate the characteristics of any truly great blogger: I am socially introverted, (secretly) hyper-critical, over-educated, underemployed, lazy, easily distracted, fancifully ambitious and oftentimes, clinically delusional.

I take offense to the notion that any truly great blogger can be secretly hyper-critical. One must embrace their own fundamental superiority over the unwashed masses to make any sort of impact in the “blogosphere,” or as I prefer to refer to it, “blogorrhea.”

Well said. I meant it more in the sense that situationally, in conversational interactions, I am more likely to think “boy you’re dumb” than to actually say it.
